Doric has been involved in energy-conscious homes since the advent of
earth-sheltered housing in the late 1970s, and was an early participant in the Earth
Sheltered Housing Institute at the University of Minnesota in 1980. Doric recognized
the need for energy-conscious design, planning and use of materials long before
green was "Green". 

From conscientious planning to site specific architecture, Doric knows that
quality sustainable materials, responsible architecture and construction are
the foundation of a successful green home.
