Project Completed: The Grand Coulee House  
The Grand Coulee House is sited high above Grand Coulee dam on over 50 acres. With views East along
Lake Roosevelt & North to the Columbia Highlands, this home was designed by "balance associates"
architects out of Seattle. Long shed roofs & an interesting combination of galvanized metal, stainless
steel, & mill finish clad wood windows combine for a desert contemporary which blends into basalt cliffs.
An open floor plan, extensive use of glass, & hard troweled concrete floors combine for a home that lives
much larger than it's finished 2,500 sq.ft. The Grand Coulee House was occupied in the summer of 2009
ahead of scheduled landscaping.
