Project Completed: Black Rock Contemporary
Black Rock Contemporary is an extraordinary contemporary home sited in a gated golf course community
on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Designed by Eric Hedlund, the clients engaged Eric as the culmination of previous
efforts to satisfy their contemporary whims. Situated high above the lake, over 1,500 linear feet of stone site
walls encompass a footprint that is over 300 ft long and almost 8,000 sq.ft. The Entry Courtyard welcomes
guests over a bridge which crosses water features that continue under a glass bridge, thru the master
suite to the vistas beyond. Built on one continuous level, the material palette includes powder coated steel
windows & doors, stainless steel, stone, & teakwood ceilings & soffits, coupled w/rift oak floors. The
ultimate in luxury, detail, & privacy, Black Rock Contemporary was completed in Fall 2011.
